Ivengar Yoga Instructor
I first started practising Yoga while I was studying for my post-graduate degree at Newcastle University.
I quickly fell in love with Yoga, and continued my practice when I finished my degree and moved to employment in Edinburgh.
On returning home to Ballymena I found my teacher, Margaret Gunn-King, who introduced me to Iyengar Yoga and I haven't looked back since.
Margaret encouraged me to apply for the teacher training assessment, and in 2006 I gained my Introductory Level 1 Certification. Over the following few years I continued my practice, working towards my Introductory Level 2 Certification, which I successfully acquired in 2018.
My love for yoga continues.
Iyengar Yoga improves flexibility, strength, concentration and mental calm. I have seen for myself how it has helped me through difficult times in my life.
I can't imagine a time when Iyengar Yoga won't be part of my life.
